Whether it's alpine camping trips or long distance trekking, the Alvar UL 2 tent from Marmot is the perfect solution for those looking for a lightweight, performance shelter with all around versatility.

The Alvar UL series offers all the features of the original Alvar but with an ultralight denier construction for a lighter pack weight. The Alvar UL combines Marmot's trademark durability with an intuitive, liveable design to deliver an impressive weight to space ratio that doesn't compromise on space or comfort. Zone Pre-Bend pole design and strategic clip placement provide optimised living space with room enough for two persons with kit. Doors on either side give each user their own hassle-free access with dual vestibules for added kit storage.

The Alvar UL pitches as one using an external clip pole attachment with colour-coded clip, poles and fly for quick setup in time-sensitive situations. The Alvar offers an aerodynamic and stable design for siting in exposed terrain with guylines for added stability.

A 20D rip-stop flysheet offers minimal weight with great durability while 3000mm of seam-taped waterproofing and a bathtub floor deliver a high level of rain protection. The design means the flysheet can be pitched alone with the footprint (sold separately) in place of the mesh canopy for a super-light warm weather trail shelter.

The Alvar UL features vents for airflow management and to prevent condensation. A lampshade pocket in the roof transforms your headlamp into a tent-wide light source while interior pockets keep smaller essentials close to hand.

The Marmot Alvar UL 2 person tent offers a fast-and-light camping shelter for those venturing into changeable weather conditions. A great tent for two person hiking, trekking and wild camping.
