With a Dremel, for example, an individually shaped opening can be milled into the side wall of the housing, in order to subsequently secure an acrylic glass pane behind it. But the disc shape itself is customizable. In addition, engravings can be milled into the surface, thus ensuring a unique style.
These are acrylic glass GS. This relatively break-resistant, weather-resistant and highly transparent, thermoplastic material can be molded and processed well. It can be milled, drilled and sawed and can be formed at temperatures of 160 to 180 degrees Celsius. On the other hand, this requires that, when sawing with electrical assistance, care must be taken to ensure that the saw blade does not become too hot, as otherwise the interface may immediately stick again after the pass. Otherwise, care must be taken to be careful.
This version is colorless, with 500 x 500mm size and 3mm thickness, for example, suitable for larger cases. The acrylic plate is glossy on both sides and each with a protective foil (picture 2).
