It is used for chemical absorption of nitrogen compounds dissolved in water. It binds toxic nitrogen compounds that produce fish, which improves water parameters and effectively prevents the growth of algae. NitroMAX Pro is efficient and extremely effective.

What is NitroMAX Pro?

NitroMAX Pro is a unique filter cartridge designed for chemical water filtration in freshwater aquariums, paludariums and terrarium pools. It has the form of fleece bags filled with a specially selected ion exchange resin stabilized with a filler. It is used for the chemical absorption
of nitrogen compounds dissolved in water, which is one of the main causes of the deterioration of the health condition of fish and the development of troublesome algae in the aquarium.

How does NitroMAX Pro work?
The unique ion exchange resin used in NitroMAX Pro has excellent absorption properties. As a result, it absorbs toxic nitrogen compounds dissolved in it. Captures nitrite and nitrate ions from the water. It protects fish against harmful nitrogen substances and allows limiting the size and frequency of water changes. Exceptionally effectively prevents the growth of algae.

Where and when does NitroMAX Pro work?
NitroMAX Pro works perfectly as a filter bed in canister filters, overflow filters, internal filters with chambers for loose media (eg TURBOFILTER), as well as in sumps and filter chimneys. It is especially recommended for tanks with large fish and a large number of fish in which there are problems with excessive amount of nitrogen compounds in the water. The use of NitroMAX Pro allows you to limit the size and frequency of water changes and maintains proper and safe for fish water parameters in the tank.

One sachet provides filtration in approx. 70 l aquarium for approx. 30 days. One pack of NitroMAX Pro contains 3 sachets with a capacity of 0.3 l each.

How should I use NitroMAX Pro?
NitroMAX Pro is immediately ready for use and does not require rinsing or any other additional activities. The contents of the packaging should be placed in the filter basket or in the filtration chamber. In order to ensure optimal results, it is recommended to place the NitroMAX Pro cartridge behind the mechanical and biological filtration cartridges.

NitroMAX Pro is recommended for AQUAEL filters: UNIMAX, MIDIKANI 800, MINIKANI 80, MINIKANI 120, ASAP and VERSAMAX.

How long does NitroMAX Pro work?
The operation of the NitroMAX Pro cartridge (sorption) causes it to gradually fill and wear. In order to maintain optimal filtration properties, it should be replaced at least every 4 weeks.
