Offering collection, mulching, side-discharge and rear-discharge modes as standard, the Alpina AL5 46 SQ is one of the most versatile machines in its price bracket and will appeal to gardeners for whom the ability to manage varying grass conditions is essential!
Difficult to beat in terms of comfort and convenience, the well-equipped AL5 46 SQ features simple, one-lever cutting-height selection; a quick-adjust handlebar with an ergonomically-shaped grip; and a carry-handle for easy lifting up and down steps.
Thanks to its powerful self-propelled drive, the AL5 46 SQ requires little effort to operate and is a good match for lawns with slopes, undulations and rough areas.
A front-bumper combines with a steel chassis to ensure you’ll enjoy robust durability; while sizeable 280mm rear-wheels confer enhanced long-grass manoeuvrability.
The AL5 46 SQ is fitted with a front grass-comb – this lifts the grass just before it contacts the blade, thereby guaranteeing a nicely manicured finish.
Further high-spec features include a ‘collector full’ indicator that helps to avoid overfilling of the roomy 60-litre grassbag; and ball-bearing wheel-mounts for a smoother run over bumpy grass.
Power comes from quiet, clean-running and fuel-efficient 125cc OHV engine from US market-leaders Briggs & Stratton.
