CABLE-FREE CONNECTION DESIGN
Seasonic engineers have implemented a new design feature where instead of cables; the back panel and the printed circuit board (PCB) are connected by a copper plate. This breakthrough solution not only reduces the risk of manufacturing errors during manual insertion, but also improves the quality of the output power.


FAN CONTROL BUTTON
The fan control button is located on the back of the FOCUS PLUS power supply, next to the power switch. The photo here shows how to select different fan control modes according to your needs. DO NOT press the button if you want to enable fanless mode, which means that the fan in the power supply will not spin when the power supply is under light load. Press the button if you want the fan to spin continuously, even at lower loads.


DYNAMIC FLUID FAN BEARING
High-performance dynamic bearing (FDB) fans are designed to take advantage of the shock-absorbing effect of oil. They are extremely reliable and generate significantly less noise and heat during operation than ball bearing fans. Lubricating the bearing surface reduces friction and vibration and therefore lowers overall energy consumption. Due to its effortless, quieter rotation and solid construction, this reliable fan technology significantly extends the life of the fan.
