Discovery Micro Solar is a biological microscope for the first steps into science. It is easy to use, so even an inexperienced user will handle the microscope quite easily. Its capabilities allow for examining prepared slides, thin sections of plant tissues, parts of insects, and the life in a drop of water. The kit includes the "Invisible World" knowledge book.

Optical system

The monocular head is inclined at 45° so that it allows for observation with maximum comfort. On the sides of the body, there are coarse focus knobs for adjusting sharpness. The microscope revolving nosepiece is designed for three objectives (4x, 10x, and 40x). The eyepiece is sliding and non-removable. In one position, it provides 10x magnification and in another - 16x. The total magnification of the optical instrument is from 40x to 640x, which is sufficient for observing many samples.

Adjusting LED illumination system

The stage has two metal clips for fixing the specimen. There is a disc with diaphragms and LED lighting under the stage. The illumination system allows you to conduct research even in complete darkness. Since the bulb is powered by batteries (not included), the microscope can be used anywhere, even away from power outlets. In general, the instrument is very lightweight, compact and, therefore, portable. It is convenient to take it with you to the countryside.

Book of microworld knowledge

The microscope comes with the "Invisible World" knowledge book for a quick dip into science. It contains interesting articles on microscopy and the tiny inhabitants of our world as well as colorful pictures and photographs. The descriptions of experiments that can be carried out at home are provided on separate pages. The book features simple language, so it will be of interest to a wide range of readers.
