LEDDY TUBE - economical and universal!

Properly selected LEDs are the basic source of light in modern aquariums. They effectively ousted the previously used fluorescent lamps, incandescent lamps and compact fluorescent lamps from the market. Compared to them, they have a number of advantages. They allow for a significant reduction in electricity consumption, because by producing the same amount of light as fluorescent lamps they consume it even by half as much. And this translates into both lower electricity bills, beneficial for the aquarist's pocket, and environmental protection. You do not need to replace them often with new ones, because they can work up to 15,000. hours, which again saves money, protects the environment and is less labor-intensive. At the same time, they do not heat the water in the aquarium unnecessarily, they shine directionally only towards the water surface (so you do not need to use additional reflectors), and, unlike traditional fluorescent lamps, they have a two-year manufacturer's warranty.

The LEDDY TUBE 14W PLANT module is designed to illuminate freshwater plant aquariums. It contains carefully selected LEDs that provide the perfect illumination of the aquarium, guaranteeing excellent living conditions for its inhabitants. It can be installed in Aquael covers and lamps. Thanks to the use of T5 / T8 adapters, it can also be installed in any cover or lamp dedicated to traditional aquarium fluorescent lamps. The accessory DUBLED hanger allows you to add an additional module to the lamp or cover and thus increase the illumination of the tank.

The module was designed and manufactured in Poland in the Aquael factory, which has been providing aquarists with products full of well-designed solutions since 1984.

Why do we light the aquarium?

There are usually two reasons. First of all, the tank is supposed to look nice, that is, natural. The light is to make fish and plants have beautiful colors appropriate for a given species, and the whole will be an unquestionable decoration of the room. The second goal is equally important - the vast majority of aquarists want to have healthy, well-growing plants in their aquarium. And plants need light to grow for 10-12 hours a day, which is the "drive" of photosynthesis - a natural process as a result of which they transform inorganic compounds into organic substances necessary for their life. So, properly selected light is also to guarantee that the aquarium will look nice and the plants will grow well in it.

The LEDs installed in the LEDDY TUBE PLANT module emit light with a color temperature of 9000 K. This provides good conditions for aquarium plants and guarantees faithful reproduction of the colors of all aquarium inhabitants.
