Users manual:
Experiment 1: Yellow slime
You will need:
- A large test tube with a lid
- syringe
- spatulas
- Yellow slime powder
- Water
- Scissors.
How to work?
1. Place the large test tube in the holder in the slime lab.
2. Add 75 ml of water to a large test tube. Use a syringe for this. The syringe holds 25 ml. Therefore, you will have to fill it 3 times.
3. Carefully open the yellow powder packet using scissors. Be careful not to get the powder in your eyes or mouth.
4. Pour the powder into a large test tube.
5. Take a spatula and mix the powder and water together. Close the lid and shake the mixture for about 30 seconds. Place it in the lab rack and wait a few minutes.
6. Add 10 ml of mucus to the syringe and read experiment 2.
7. Shake the remaining slime every few minutes until the mixture is really smooth. It will take time
about 15-20 minutes.
Experiment 2: How does mucus change?
You will need:
- Injected with yellow mucus from experiment 1
- Tweezers
How to work?
1. Insert the syringe containing the mucus into the clamps on the left side of your lab.
2. Slowly push the plunger of the syringe down, the mucus will come out of the syringe and run into the cavity below.
3. Wait 20 minutes for the slime to harden completely.
4. Take the syringe from the lab and pull the plunger.
5. Remove the pieces of mucus from the cavity using tweezers and place them in the syringe.
6. Squeeze the mucus through the syringe again.
Experiment 3: Mucus and air
You will need
- A plate
- Yellow mucus
- Pipettes
How to work?
1. Take the base of the dish and place it in the recess in the laboratory.
2. Now put some yellow slime from the large test tube into the plate.
3. Insert the tip of the pipette into the mucus and use the pipette to force air into the mucus.
What do you notice?
Can you blow air into the slime or make funny sounds?
Experiment 4: Red slime.
You will need
- A large test tube with a lid
- syringe
- spatulas
- Red slime powder
- Water
- Scissors.
How to work?
1. Place the large test tube in the holder in the laboratory.
2. Pour 55 ml of water - 20 ml less than when making yellow slime. Measure 55 ml of water with a syringe and mix the mucus as described in Experiment 1.
3. Shake the slime every few minutes until the mixture is really thick. This will take approximately 15-20 minutes.

Experiment 5: consistency test
You will need:
- Yellow mucus
- Red mucus
- Tweezers
- Strings
- A watch or stopwatch.
How to work?
1. Stretch the rope from one vertical bar to the other - threading the two ends of the cord through the holes in the bars and tying knots.
2. Take a small piece of yellow slime and place it through the middle of the rope. Take a watch or stopwatch and time how long it takes for the slime to flow from the string and fall to the lab station.
3. Record the time and repeat the action with a piece of red slime.

Experiment 6: Flat slime
You will need:
- A small test tube with a cap
- Small test tube ring
- Red mucus
- Yellow mucus
- Tweezers
How to work?
1. Screw the cap on the small test tube and place the ring on the other side.
2. Take a piece of red slime the size of a ping pong ball and place it on top
On the left side of the laboratory station.
3. Begin rolling out the slime by placing the small roller in the designated recesses
and rolling it through the mucus.
4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 with the yellow slime.
