ASUS Chromebook Flip C214 is built to deliver an innovative and inspirational learning experience. As well as a versatile touchscreen display and a built-in stylus, there’s also a 360 hinge and a world-facing camera. ASUS Chromebook Flip C214 has classroom-ready durability to reassure teachers and students alike, with an all-round rubber bumper, spill-resistant keyboard and ultratough hinge. With its school day-long battery life and time-saving, easy-to-service modular construction, ASUS Chromebook Flip C214 is ready for anything!
Ruggedized Design
Ultimate rugged design
Accidents happen, and ASUS Chromebook Flip C214 is ready for them: it’s built to withstand everyday classroom knocks, bumps, drops and spills without damage.
All-round protection
All four exterior edges and corners are protected by a tough rubber bumper, which reduces the impact of physical shocks to ensure critical components are always safe and sound.
Spill-resistant keyboard
The spill-resistant keyboard can cope with liquid spills of up to 66cc without harm, so minor splashes on the desk or dinner table can be easily drained, cleaned, and dried.
Rubber safety grip
Drops when carrying are a common laptop problem, whether it’s students moving between classes or when you’re working on the go. A rubber bar on the base not only provides a sturdy support for ASUS Chromebook Flip C214, but it also makes it easier to grip when carrying — a thoughtful design detail that reduces the risk of drops.
Tamper-resistant keyboard
The gap between the edges of the keycaps and the keyboard surround is reduced to prevent anyone from prying the keys out.
Ready for action
Classrooms can be tough, but ASUS Chromebook Flip C214 is tougher! Built to surpass demanding military-grade MIL-STD-810G durability standards, it’s also torture-tested to pass stringent ASUS quality tests. It can withstand occasional drops of up to 120cm — more than standard desk height — and the hinge and I/O ports are fully tested to endure the stresses and strains of everyday use.
Learning made different
ASUS Chromebook Flip C214 includes a special world-facing camera so students can explore and learn in a totally new way, allowing them to capture photos and videos in tablet mode. There are also plans for the world-facing camera to support versatile apps, giving both students and teachers an exciting new learning aid.
Two cameras, twice the inspiration
ASUS Chromebook Flip C214 has two cameras: one normal webcam, plus a special world-facing camera located at the bottom corner of the keyboard area — an ideal position that makes the device easier to hold in portrait mode.
Hinge & Pen
360 of versatility
The versatile 360 any-position hinge gives you total flexibility when using ASUS Chromebook Flip C214. Open it the full 360 to take a test in tablet mode. Study or mark papers in tent mode. Flip into laptop mode to do a report assignment. It’s as flexible as your imagination!
Handy built-in stylus
ASUS Chromebook Flip C214 features an optional precision stylus that helps you get every detail just right when you’re drawing, note-taking, or marking up documents. The built-in stylus holder means it’s always to hand — and there’s less chance of losing it.
