Generate more frames and win more games with the power of the 2023 ROG Strix SCAR 17 with Windows 11 Home. Take on any opponent with the power of an AMD Ryzen™ 9 processor paired with NVIDIA® GeForce RTX™ 40 laptop graphics at an incredible max. A dedicated MUX Switch solution with support for NVIDIA Optimus technology allows the SCAR laptop to intelligently automatically prioritize - higher gaming performance or longer battery life.

With NVIDIA® Advanced Optimus, the laptop can automatically route frames from the dedicated GPU directly to the screen via MUX Switch, bypassing the CPU's integrated graphics. This signal path improves performance by 5-10% compared to PCs without MUX Switch for the best possible gaming experience - all without having to press any buttons.

Heat dissipation is faster and more efficient thanks to our special vapor chamber, which provides a much larger surface area compared to traditional heat pipe systems. Unlike conventional heat pipes, which transfer heat only along their own axis, Vapor Chamber solutions dissipate heat across their entire surface, quickly absorbing and dissipating the heat generated by components without adding to the size of the PC.

When you want to adjust settings, monitor temperature or otherwise modify the configuration of your laptop , Armory Crate is your command center. Real-time monitoring lets you see how your GPU, CPU, and memory are performing. RGB lighting can be customized for individual games via Aura Sync. Fan and power profiles allow you to change the acoustics, power and temperature characteristics of your laptop while the system is in use. Plus, with an exclusive selection of games, your gaming library will always be full.

You can't defeat your opponent if you don't see him approaching. Strix SCAR 17 comes in ultra-fast screen variants so you never miss a moment. This 17-inch laptop offers a 240 Hz QHD matrix. With such fast refresh rates and fast response times as low as 3ms, you can make pixel-perfect decisions in even the craziest gunfights in gaming battles.

Built to last, the Strix SCAR switches are rated to last over 20 million keystrokes. Don't worry about the WASD keys either - they're durable enough to stand the test of time. RGB lighting with custom key configuration provides unlimited effect flexibility with Aura Sync, including game-specific lighting presets.
