Powerful components require an absolutely effective cooling solution. ROG Strix SCAR 18 features Thermal Grizzly's innovative Conductonaut Extreme Liquid Metal, which further enhances passive heat dissipation. Compared to traditional thermal compounds, Conductonaut offers 17 times higher conductivity, in addition to a CPU and GPU temperature reduction of up to 15 degrees. ROG-exclusive cooling offers the most advanced heat dissipation available in a notebook, so your notebook stays cool even during hot battles.

Thanks to NVIDIA Advanced Optimus, the ROG Strix SCAR 18 can automatically forward images from the dedicated GPU directly to the display via a MUX switch, bypassing the processor graphics. This routing improves performance by 5% to 10% compared to devices without a MUX switch, providing an optimal gaming experience without a single additional button press. This automatic switch saves your computer's battery life because it can dynamically switch between the powerful, dedicated GPU and the energy-saving, integrated GPU. No matter what the task, your computer always switches automatically to the optimal mode.
