The multimedia dock is just as modular with a rotary wheel whose integrated LC display shows all kinds of information. The supplied Cherry switches can also be exchanged.

MOUNTAIN Everest Max: modular gaming keyboard with RGB LED lighting
The MOUNTAIN Everest Max is a gaming keyboard with extremely durable mechanical Cherry MX switches. Thanks to USB-N-Key-Rollover , any number of keys can be pressed simultaneously, enabling lag-free and lossless input. With a report rate of 1,000 Hz , inputs are processed every millisecond. Thus, you can react immediately to changes in the game.

The keyboard has a USB Type-C socket that the detachable cable plugs into. This has a Type A connector at the other end, so the keyboard is compatible with most PCs. On a USB 3.0 Type A port on the back of the keyboardAmong other things, a mouse can be connected.

The special thing about the MOUNTAIN Everest Max gaming keyboard is its sophisticated modular concept. The included numpad turns the space-saving TKL base into a full keyboard when needed . It can not only be removed if necessary, but also attached to the left instead of to the right or connected via USB-C cable. Four shortcut keys are also integrated there, which can be assigned links or macros. Their LC displays can be covered with any JPEGs via the software called Base Camp.

The multimedia dock with the rotary wheel can also be removed, which is equipped with an LC display. This not only allows you to control the brightness of the RGB LED lighting on the keyboard or the volume of the speakers connected to the PC. The LC display can also show all sorts of additional information, such as the time or the CPU load. Macros and settings can be saved in a total of five profiles on the keyboard .
Design, optics and materials
The large and rubberized feet provide additional support. They are attached with magnets and can be increased by two levels with additional rings . The palm rest , which is covered with imitation leather, is also magnetic . The all-black keyboard cover is made of robust aluminum . An RGB LED-lit trim surrounds all four sides of the keyboard and numpad. The LEDs of the keys can be set individually. In addition, all sorts of effects and color profiles are available. Another plus point are the extra-wide keys' stabilizers: MOUNTAIN not only uses Cherry MX switches, they are also lubricated at the factory and thus ensure particularly quiet and smooth typing.
