The Eisbaer LT Aurora CPU AIO water cooling offers extremely good cooling performance thanks to the full copper radiator. The components used come from the classic DIY water cooling sector and are also used for the most part in enterprise products for servers. The Eisbaer LT Aurora can be expanded with additional components using the quick-release fastener.
The core is the DC-LT 2 pump.
The very compact and small DC-LT 2 pump has been further optimized compared to its predecessor. The impeller sits floating on a ceramic axis and is supported by two magnets. A 3-phase sine control ensures that the pump runs much more smoothly, which contributes significantly to minimizing the generation of noise. The pump offers enough power to integrate another component, such as a GPU water cooler or another radiator, into the circuit. Ideally, it is coupled with an Eiswolf 2 GPU AIO water cooling. This also uses a DC-LT2 pump.
DIY connections and ES hoses
The hose connections come from the normal DIY segment and therefore use a G1 / 4 “thread. Therefore, these can be exchanged very easily. The black TPV hose, like the connections, comes from the Alphacool ES series, which is primarily installed in servers and workstations. The hose does not require plasticizers and, in contrast to classic PVC hoses, does not deform even at high temperatures. The quick release fastener is not made of heavy brass, but of extremely light, durable and robust nylon. The quick release is compatible with many other models from the Alphacool product line.
Cooler
As with all Alphacool products, the cooler base consists of nickel-plated copper and is equipped with very fine cooling fins that are distributed over the entire base. A nozzle plate ensures an accelerated flow over the cooling fins, which increases the cooling performance. The water flow is optimized so that all areas of the radiator base are cooled evenly.
Full digital RGB equipment
The cooler-pump unit and the fans are fully equipped with digital RGB LEDs, also known as addressable RGB or aRGB. With the included controller or a digital RGB control on the mainboard, extensive effects can be set. The illuminated ice bear on the cooler-pump unit naturally creates a beautiful visual effect. For easier control via a controller, the fans and also the pumps can be connected in series as a daisy chain. This ensures that the individual LED components are properly wired.
