The installation of the Britax Römer child safety seat can be done universally in your vehicle. Depending on the equipment, you can choose between an installation by using the car’s own seatbelt or else the Isofix connectors.

No matter how old your child is: the super comfy Kidfix 2 S always grows with your child. The V-shaped backrest and soft-padded side wings provide a comfortable position for small passengers at all times. As soon as the headrest is moved upwards, the shoulder area automatically adjusts in width.

Tried and tested safety features - Made in Germany: The built-in SecureGuard additionally protects the sensitive belly of your child. By optimally positioning the pelvic belt over the pelvic bones, the SecureGuard reduces the forces that occur in the event of a frontal impact and also provides your little passenger with plenty of freedom of movement while riding in your car. Especially in the event of a side impact, the particularly high backrest ensures an extra high level of protection from head to hip. In contrast to its little brother, the Kidfix 2 R, the Kidfix 2 S comes with the side impact protection SICT as an additional safety feature. Thanks to the innovative technology, the forces that your child is exposed to in the event of a side impact are diverted away from him/ her or damped, respectively.

The Kidfix 2 S is also super versatile as it allows you to remove the backrest and use the child safety seat as a booster seat. We recommend using the child safety seat with the protective high backrest for as long as possible. However, there are situations such as school trips or having three seats in the back seat, etc. that require a flexible conversion into a booster seat. After European regulations, this usage is only allowed for children who are taller than 125cm. However, Britax Römer recommends using the Kidfix 2 S as a booster seat only when your child is taller than 135cm. The SecureGuard, a belt clip and the Isofix connectors provide maximum safety when using the booster seat. The belt clip holds the diagonal seatbelt in the correct position over the shoulder of your child.

The removable, padded seat cover is not only functional but also very comfortable.
