The new Concord Ultimax i-Size is now in line with the European regulation for child safety seats – Standard ECE R129. It is approved for children with a body height of 40 to 105 cm and can be used as an infant car seat or as a child safety seat.
Both a rigid and safe connection is created by installing the Ultimax i-Size car seats by using the Isofix system. The Isofix connectors can be extended easily by a handwheel so that they connect correctly to the Isofix points of your vehicle. A safety indicator confirms correct installation. Depending on the age of your child, you can install the child car seat in both a forward-facing and rear-facing mode.
The Concord is also suitable for being used as rearward-facing reboard child safety seat which comes in super handy especially when you plan to use this car seat right from birth. A special seat reducer embraces your child and provides additional support. Once your little one has reached a weight of 9 kg, you can install the Ultimax i-Size in a forward-facing mode. By removing the pelvic insert, you can create significantly more seat depth for taller children. The user-friendly five-point harness keeps your child safe and secure.
The ProComfort system enables you to adjust the sitting and lying position with only one hand and right on the front of the Ultimax i-Size – even when the child car seat is installed in a rear-facing mode. The headrest which can be adjusted in six different height levels, features a built-in belt positioner and grows with your little one.
An innovative side impact protection complements the Ultimax i-Size by providing maximum safety.
