At its core, the D2NU2 is a mini-housing heatsink designed for passive cooling. In order to accommodate the groundbreaking miniaturized complete systems NUC (Next Unit of Computing) from Intel in an optically adequate dwelling and also to go technically on the whole Impactics offers the mini cases in two colors and different versions. From the very similar D2NU2 differs the D2NU1 by the front mounted on the blue illuminated power button.

So small, can this really be a computer? That's probably the first question one faces with Intel's Next Unit of Computing (NUC). And the answer is: yes, even with already integrated, powerful CPU. After all, it's one thing to power your display with high-performance components. On the other hand, it is completely different, to realize the whole in a tiny miniature system and yet not to sacrifice power. The form factor of the NUC standard of 10.16 x 10.16 x 5.08 cm can definitely be described as outstandingly small.

The D2NU1 has all of the required cut-outs required by a NUC-series motherboard such as Intel's D53427RKE on I / O ports. These are cutouts for the USB, HDMI, Mini DisplayPort and LAN ports on the back and another for the USB port on the front.
