The circular polarizing filter helps to extract color saturation and reduce the reflections of water, glass and other surfaces. The ND filter reduces the intensity of the light without changing the white balance. To reduce reflections and set a long exposure when photographing water splashes, currents, etc. a circular polarizing and Neutral Density (ND) filter must be used together. The Marumi Creation C-PL ND filter performs the functions of a polarizing and ND filter, so there is no need to use two different filters. The filter is quite thin - this reduces the vignetting effect, which is very important when using wide-angle lenses, which cannot be avoided by using 2 filters on top of each other. The multi-layer coating and the satin layer reduce external reflections, and the blackened filter ring reduces internal reflections. CREATION C-PL/ND16 Circular polarizing filter reducing light intensity by 1/16 (exposure value: 4 steps, density: 1.2)
