Micellar water is a combination of water and an "amphiphile" substance (derived from a coconut extract* in the case of our micellar water) which is capable of dissolving fats and therefore able to effectively remove oils, dust and impurities from the skin. This amphiphile substance dissolves in water in the form of extremely fine particles. These micro-particles, when combined with the perfume contained in the product, take the form of what are known as "micelles". With a slightly foaming texture, micellar water is distinctive in that it combines the freshness of an aqueous solution with the effectiveness of a make-up removing oil.
