See our permanent hair color in a new light, with Opal-Essence by Illumina Color. This shade family of five opalescent, no-depth shades, give the hair a metallic milky sheen with warm and cool light reflections. Use alone or mixed with other Illumina Color shades.

EXPERIENCE EXTRAORDINARY COMBINATION OF WARM AND COOL LIGHT REFLECTIONS FROM ONE SHADE
With Opal-Essence, as the light hits the hair it is reflected in different ways, producing different hues.

This is due to the composition of the no-depth shades, the light is less absorbed by the hair and hence travels far through the hair fiber which produces warm and cool hues in various angles.

These new shade formulas were possible by leveraging for the first time our proprietary artificial intelligence, Revelation™ process.

Understanding the untapped color desires of our leading hair artists via real-time on-screen simulation, Revelation™ helps to translate their color desires into a shade formula.

The artificial intelligence/Revelation™ algorithm assesses thousands of dye combinations in a short period of time – vs. few formulation strategies by an experienced human formulator. This way it captures the artists’ color desire with the precision of computer technology.
