Modern gaming laptops send the image frames through the GPU integrated in the processor before they are displayed on the screen. This gives you longer battery life, but prevents you from maximizing the performance of your graphics card. For this reason, we are implementing a MUX switch on all ROG for 2022. For competitive gaming, you can switch to direct GPU mode for lower latency and an average 15% faster performance.

High-end gaming components generate heat, which can affect performance and noise levels. Strix G features ROG Intelligent Cooling™ to help keep components cool. The first element of this process is liquid metal on the processor, which lowers the temperature by up to 16 degrees Celsius compared to conventional thermal paste. Four fan outlets allow the laptop to dissipate generated heat as efficiently as possible. Software profiles allow the user to personalize settings, with Silent mode keeping the noise level low for lighter tasks, while Performance mode brings the full power of the laptop, increasing both graphics performance limit and

Cooling is one of the biggest issues with , but ROG keeps getting better at it. Also part of the overall cooling concept is the use of liquid metal, which is extremely effective in dissipating thermal energy. Lower temperatures help processors maintain higher clock speeds for longer and prevent fans from spinning too fast and creating more noise.

The upgraded Arc Flow™ fans feature 84 curved blades that are specially shaped to maximize airflow with minimal noise. The differentiated thickness of the blades reduces turbulence as the fan accelerates the airflow through centrifugal force for quieter operation.

Smart-amplified speakers combined with Dolby Atmos technology enhance spatial immersion by offering more detailed, multi-level audio effects that you can optimize with preset modes specifically tuned for movies and games. High-Resolution Audio ensures the highest fidelity when listening through headphones. AI-powered noise reduction technology filters both input and output audio, giving you crystal-clear voice communication – even with a lot of background noise. Never miss a summon again.

Overstroke technology offers a superior working and gaming experience with faster button activation times and improved responsiveness. Designed with gamers in mind, it features wider spacing between function keys for intuitive recognition, and independent hotkeys for quick access to key commands. Large arrow buttons allow for more precise control in the heat of battle. The large-area touchpad makes it easier to track across all your apps. With per-key RGB lighting, you can choose from millions of colors and enjoy endless customization possibilities.

When you want to play somewhere away from home, you can disconnect the laptop from the mains and use it for a long time thanks to the high-capacity 90Wh battery. Forget the stressful search for a power outlet and enjoy up to 12 hours of video playback. Strix G supports fast charging technology that allows you to recharge the battery from 0 to 50% in just 30 minutes. You can also recharge on the go using the USB Type-C port and any powerbank.

Wi-Fi 6E (802.11ax) connectivity lets you game at gigabit speeds wherever a compatible network is available. With the latest generation Wi-Fi connection, you'll enjoy higher peak interface throughput, increased performance and reliability in congested networks, and lower latency for less lag during gameplay. Even in crowded networks with many other devices, you benefit from a stable wireless connection.
