Draw more pictures and win more games with the gaming power of the 2023 ROG Strix SCAR 17 with Windows 11 Pro. With an AMD Ryzen 9 7945HX processor paired with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 laptop GPU with an incredible 175W TGP performance, you can take on any opponent. A dedicated MUX switch with NVIDIA Optimus support allows the SCAR 17 to intelligently prioritize gaming performance or battery life automatically. Leave loading screens behind with PCIe Gen4x4 Solid State Storage. With DDR5 memory that offers more bandwidth than ever before, the SCAR 17 is poised to outperform the competition.

Powered by NVIDIA DLSS 3, the ultra-efficient Ada Lovelace arc, and Max-Q technologies, the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 laptop GPU unleashes its full potential with a maximum TGP of 175W on the Strix SCAR 17. Higher power limits unleash even more power from this state-of-the-art silicon for the absolute best gaming experience.

With NVIDIA Advanced Optimus, the notebook can automatically route images from the discrete GPU directly to the display via a MUX switch, bypassing the integrated graphics. This routing improves performance by 5-10% compared to devices without a MUX switch, providing the best gaming experience - all without you having to press a single button. This automatic switching also saves your computer's battery life as it can dynamically switch between the more powerful discrete GPU and the less powerful integrated GPU. No matter what you're doing, your calculator will switch to the optimal mode without you having to lift a finger.

Take advantage of the brand new DDR5 standard and benefit from a huge leap in performance to 4800 MHz, with write times that are 50% faster than DDR4 devices. This ultra-fast memory ensures that all aspects of the laptop feel fast - from intense gaming to light web surfing.

Take on even the biggest projects with confidence thanks to a PCIE Gen4 Performance SSD. With raw throughput of up to 7000MB/s, large files and detailed game worlds load in no time.
