Varmilo mechanical keyboards are known for their unique keycap designs that cannot be found anywhere else and can almost be described as works of art. The variant of the Varmilo VEA108 offered here is in a full-size form factor. It offers the full range of keys including number pad, position and arrow keys. This makes it equally suitable for gaming and office applications, but it also requires a lot of space on the desk.
Stylish and durable keycaps
The keyboard caps are made from durable PBT plastic and colored using a sublimination process. The lettering is engraved so it won't fade. The keycaps are smooth and therefore don't get dirty so quickly. This keeps the keyboard looking new for a long time. In addition, the stabilizers of the Enter, Backspace, Shift and Spacebars are lubricated to ensure your typing experience always remains smooth.
Mechanical switches in detail: Cherry MX Silent Red
This version uses Cherry MX Silent Red switches . These have a low release pressure and no pressure point . A tactile pressure point is not absolutely necessary in action-heavy games such as first-person shooters , as the keys tend to be pressed fully in the heat of battle. The Cherry MX Silent Red switches come close to the characteristics of rubber dome keyboards. Thanks to their rubber dampers, they are significantly quieter compared to normal mechanical switches and are therefore ideal for the office, voice chat and streaming .
Modern and diverse functions
The robust metal feet can be folded up and down to give you optimal ergonomic typing. This keyboard also has a USB-C port to which you can attach the included cable and connect it to a USB-A port on your PC. You can adjust the volume or turn it off and start the calculator program using dedicated buttons.
The white LED lighting can be switched on or off using a key combination and the brightness can be adjusted to four levels. As an effect, a fading mode is available, the speed of which can also be adjusted.
