Colouration inspired by Shironeri

In Japanese silk dyeing tradition, Shironeri is a special process by which silk thread is washed and bleached to remove its natural yellow colouring before being dyed different colours.

This process allows a purer expression of colour and as a result, Japanese silk is to this day reputed for its sophisticated colour range. Inspired by the pure white achieved by Shironeri, BLOOMING BLUSH is formulated with a colour enhancing powder as white and pure as Koishimaru Silk, to better express the nuances of colour.
