Thoroughly clean the rim channel using e.g. Bike on Wax - Bike cleaner and degreaser. Then degrease it with e.g. Bike on Wax - Cleaner for crowns and bicycle brakes. Allow the degreaser to evaporate and the rim to dry. The degreased rim is ready for tape application. It is important that you maintain particular precision here, because the correct application of the tape is necessary for the correct operation of the sealing kit. Start sticking the tape inside the rim on the opposite side of the valve hole. Pull it very tight until you feel that the tape starts to stretch, only then press it to the inside of the hoop. Make sure that it does not go over the side walls of the rim and adheres firmly to the entire width of the rim. The tape is quite stiff, which guarantees good adhesion to the rim profile.
After sticking 1/4 of the circumference of the circle, go back to the beginning of the tape and cut off its initial fragment with scissors (approx. 2 cm) - this part was in contact with your fingers, so its adhesion may not be sufficient. Continue sticking the tape until the two ends of the tape meet (full turn of the circle) and finish sticking it with a few centimeter overlap, made of a double layer of tape.

TIP: It is good to stick the tape with two people. One holds the wheel, the other operates the tape.
