At the heart of the new product is the unique, patented Nokian Tyres Functional Stud Concept. The new Nokian Hakkapeliitta 9 uses two different types of stud. Operating with natural efficiency, the dedicated studs ensure easy and comfortable driving even on the worst of winter days.
When you brake or accelerate, the studs in the centre area maximise reliable grip. The studs on the outer areas provide first-class grip when you turn the wheel in the slippery curves. Whether you encounter ice or snow, the studs will always keep their grip and you on the road.
